Tasmania, Australia

Picture of Lake Oberon
Clear blue skies, comfortable temperatures, and fall foliage make the walking paths of Australia's smallest state one that wouldn't ever be forgotten. Tasmania's walking trails range from easy strolls along Cornelian Bay in the capital city of Hobart, to challenging bush walks in remote Southwest National Park, part of the 3.46-million-acre Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area. There is stunning scenery in every direction, whether you choose to walk the countless pristine coastline tracks, across mountains of wilderness sprinkled liberally with dense rain forests, or through the breathtaking patchwork of rural countryside, you'll be assured of a kaleidoscope of breathtaking color. Tasmania is an-island state located off of Australia's southern coast, and is also home to the Tasmanian Devil which is native to that region. Although the Tasmanian Devil is native, it is very difficult to spot one in the wild for they are very elusive. If you do happen to go, there is a Tasmanian Devil Conservation Park Taranna where you can see Tasmanian Devils up close and personal as well as Endemic Quolls, Kangaroos, and Wallabies. Tasmania is a breathtaking spot on this beautiful place we call Earth, with so many different things to see and do, it is the perfect spot for any vacation or to simply go on a trip and see something different.

  3. I think if someone can go to Australia and not get killed by some kind of wild creature they deserve an award.
