Tasmania, Australia

Picture of Lake Oberon
Clear blue skies, comfortable temperatures, and fall foliage make the walking paths of Australia's smallest state one that wouldn't ever be forgotten. Tasmania's walking trails range from easy strolls along Cornelian Bay in the capital city of Hobart, to challenging bush walks in remote Southwest National Park, part of the 3.46-million-acre Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area. There is stunning scenery in every direction, whether you choose to walk the countless pristine coastline tracks, across mountains of wilderness sprinkled liberally with dense rain forests, or through the breathtaking patchwork of rural countryside, you'll be assured of a kaleidoscope of breathtaking color. Tasmania is an-island state located off of Australia's southern coast, and is also home to the Tasmanian Devil which is native to that region. Although the Tasmanian Devil is native, it is very difficult to spot one in the wild for they are very elusive. If you do happen to go, there is a Tasmanian Devil Conservation Park Taranna where you can see Tasmanian Devils up close and personal as well as Endemic Quolls, Kangaroos, and Wallabies. Tasmania is a breathtaking spot on this beautiful place we call Earth, with so many different things to see and do, it is the perfect spot for any vacation or to simply go on a trip and see something different.

Angel Falls Venezuela

The next destination in our journey is to Angle Falls, Venezuela. Angel Falls is the worlds highest uninterrupted waterfall towering at an astounding height of 3,212 feet. The waterfall drops over the edge of Auyantepui mountain in the Canaima National Park. The mighty cascade is named after Jimmy Angel, an American pilot who landed on top of Auyantepui in 1937 while searching for gold during the gold rush era. Angel's four-seater plane got stuck on top of the mountain and he, his wife and two companions had to trek for 11 days before finding another human being. Jimmy, having unknowingly discovered the biggest waterfall in the world was very disappointed for in fact he was only in search of gold. The water from the waterfall itself flows into the Krep river, which is also known as the Rio Gauya. The waterfall is the pride and joy of Venezuela being its most popular tourist attraction. Although very hard to reach, the people that go to visit this breathtaking site describe it as unbelievable and a place that all who can, should go and see for themselves. Some people have also claimed that they can feel water drops from the fall up to a kilometer away. This waterfall has captured the eyes of tourists, nature lovers, scientists, and all sorts of different kinds of people whom are looking for something different or out of the ordinary. If you ever get the money or the chance, I would highly suggest taking a trip down to the beautiful Angel Falls, Venezuela. You won't regret it.
